In December 2018, I contacted All-Star Wrestling Australia, offering my skills with the aim of improving their past promotional materials to set a higher standard for visual representation, as I believed the previous design quality was lacking and required drastic improvements.
I have since assumed all graphic design responsibilities, earning the confidence and trust of the team to exercise my creative freedom in preserving and attracting new audiences through eye-catching promotional material, contributing to a significant boost in ticket sales.
All-Star Wrestling LIVE at Collector Con!
In comparison to prior events, All-Star Wrestling LIVE at Collector Con! was to be held in conjunction with the Collector Con Toy and Hobby Fair—a toy, hobby, and pop culture fair for kids and big kids at heart!
As per the brief, I was tasked with incorporating comic books into the design, for which an innovative approach was taken to the project—opposing the dark and grungy tone of previous works, showcasing a bright and colourful retro comic book cover-style theme.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event was postponed. However, All-Star Wrestling LIVE at Collector Con! would resume the following year in 2021 (with an updated poster design).
